One Way Streets is a dynamic three-piece band of 18-year-olds from Southwestern Ontario, blending youthful energy with a passion for music that transcends genres. The band began as a duo in 2020 with Spencer Calhoun on drums and Hayden Carey on vocals and guitar. In September 2021, they recorded their first homemade album, The Void, showcasing their raw talent and creative spirit. Later that year, bassist Lincoln White joined the lineup, followed by lead guitarist Finn Toth (for live shows) in December 2023, completing the band’s current formation. Drawing inspiration from a variety of genres, rock, punk, grunge, alternative, and ballads, One Way Streets crafts a distinctive sound that’s uniquely their own. They’ve captivated audiences with performances at local bars, festivals in London and surrounding areas, and a standout appearance at the London Music Hall during a high school battle of the bands. In June 2024, One Way Streets made their Toronto debut, opening for DURRY at CMW, marking a major milestone in their journey. The band is currently undergoing an exciting rebrand as they work with producers Sam Willows and Derek Hoffman on their highly anticipated new EP, set for release in 2025.
