Potts

Kairyn “Kai” Potts (he/him) is a bold, unapologetic Two-Spirit Nakota Sioux creator, speaker, and cultural disruptor from Treaty 6 Territory — proudly representing both Paul First Nation and the Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation. Now based in Tkaronto, Kai is a nationally recognized youth advocate, actor, writer, model, and creative powerhouse who moves seamlessly between digital storytelling, community leadership, and sharp-witted pop culture critique. As the National Youth Board Representative for the 2 Spirits in Motion Society and a former Indigenous Youth Suicide Prevention Team member, Kai has dedicated his life to amplifying the voices of Indigenous youth — particularly queer and Two-Spirit youth, and those impacted by the child welfare system. His work is grounded in lived experience and rooted in truth, advocacy, and radical joy. In 2023, Kai was named to the TikTok Global Discovery List, recognized as one of the world’s top breakthrough creators. That same year, he co-created and co-hosted The Real Rank Podcast with fashion icon Scott Wabano — a raw, hilarious, and unfiltered Indigenous talk show that debuted in the Top 30 podcasts across Canada. Kai also hosts Snapchat Canada’s first original series, Reclaimed, and appears in the APTN drama 7th GEN. He’s the founder of Neechi Clan, an Indigenous gaming and streaming collective, and a Twitch and TikTok mainstay where culture meets cosplay, rez humor, and fierce femme expression. Whether he’s leading youth workshops, walking red carpets, or roasting colonizers with a wink and a winged eyeliner, Kai is shifting the narrative — not just showing up, but showing out.
