Patrick Rogers is CEO of Music Canada, the trade association representing Canada’s major labels: Sony Music Entertainment Canada, Universal Music Canada and Warner Music Canada. Under Patrick’s leadership, Music Canada advocates for responsible digital regulation, respect for the rules of copyright, and protecting the value of human artistry. Prior to joining Music Canada in 2016, Patrick was Director of Policy for the Minister of Canadian Heritage. He previously spent eight years in federal politics, including four years in the Prime Minister's Office. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Carleton University in Ottawa and currently serves on the boards of the IFPI and Ontario public broadcaster, TVO.
