Cameron Kennedy is Vice President of Creative & Member Relations at SOCAN, where he leads member-experience strategy to expand creative offerings, grow SOCAN’s repertoire, and strengthen its presence in the music ecosystem. He oversees programs and initiatives that support songwriters, composers, and music publishers across Canada and beyond. With over a decade of experience in artist and music industry relations, Cameron has worked with a wide range of talent, organizations, and non-profits to enhance the impact of charitable campaigns, live events, and fundraising initiatives. Cameron has also served in the City of Toronto music office where he worked on cross-divisional regulatory projects and live music programs to support live music and implement the Toronto Music Strategy, advocating for more music-friendly conditions. In addition to his role at SOCAN, Cameron is a founding partner of One Twenty Eight Agency, a company that partners with artists, nonprofits, foundations, brands and CSR teams with the goal of maximizing social and community impact.
